Dr. Louie Al-Faraje literally defined and authored the art of Oral Implantology. As a leading authority, he created many classifications and techniques, the standards by which oral implantology surgical procedures can be successfully performed. His name has become synonymous with results-oriented oral implantology treatments around the world.
A highly experienced clinician, educator and innovator, Dr. Louie Al-Faraje is continually advancing the protocols for oral implantology surgical treatments. His California Implant Institute in San Diego, California utilizes today’s most innovative and effective clinical solutions to create and Âmaintain optimal oral health using dental implants and bone grafting procedures.
Additionally, he is a board-certified, practicing oral implantologist in San Diego California, as well as an author and educator, who presented hundreds of lectures and trained hundreds of dentists throughout the world.
Dr. Louie Al-Faraje received his medical education at Kiev Medical School/ faculty of Stomatology and followed by postdoctoral training at Loma Linda University in California.
He is the author of a bestseller textbook “Surgical Complications in Oral Implantology” published by Quintessence 2011 and available in 7 languages, “Oral Implantology Surgical Procedures Checklist” Quintessence 2012, “Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy for Oral Implantology” Quintessence 2013 and is on the editorial board of the journal of Oral Implantology (JOI).
Dr. Riley Clark | DMD
Dr. Clark has been passionate about dentistry for decades. As a young high school student, he began his discovery of dentistry. He was the janitor in his father’s practice in Portland, Oregon. In the early hours of the morning, he would go to the office with his mom and clean every corner of the office in preparation for patient care- from bathrooms to treatment rooms, he became well-versed with dental offices! He later went on to be a dental assistant and work in the front office. He’s real passion for dentistry developed as he watched patients’ lives change through compassionate dental care. He noticed most patients seemed more like great friends with his dad than clients visiting a business. Likewise, he saw his father thoroughly enjoying what he did all day. It was compelling to witness the most magical thing of dentistry; the Doctor-Patient relationship. The Doctor-Patient relationship is what motives Dr. Clark to offer the highest care in dental implantology.
Dr. Clark received his bachelor’s degree at Portland State University. He then attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio for his DMD degree. During dental school, Dr. Clark finished his requirements ahead of schedule. This allowed him to attend advanced training in IV sedation at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Dr. Clark is an implant-only dentist, dedicating his entire professional career to the mastery of dental implantology. He has performed thousands of implant surgeries and advanced bone grafting procedures. When not busy with clinical practice, Dr. Clark lectures around the country for varies dental companies and dental societies in implant dentistry. He is most well-known for his use of technology and digital workflows within implant dentistry.
Dr. Clark and his amazing wife, Kolt, have three energy-filled daughters. When not serving patients, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family. His most favorite thing to do, however, is to cuddle with his family on the couch and watch hallmark Christmas movies!
Dr. Eugene Kim | DDS

Dr. Kim maintains a private practice focused on implant dentistry , Orthodontics, and general dentistry in San Diego, CA. He received his DDS degree from UCLA. Dr. Kim has been recognized with Diplomateship at American Board of Oral Implantology, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Clinical instructor/advisor for Dio Digital Academy. He has treated more than 500 Guided implant surgery cases and treats full scope of implant dentistry . Dr. Kim has been a fellow of Academy of General Dentistry since 2006.
Dr. Mohsen Khobyari | DDS
Dr. Khobyari graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center with his DDS, earning the highest honors. After finishing his formal dental education, he went on to receive extensive training in dental implants, oral maxillofacial prosthodontics, and comprehensive care. With more than 20 years of dental practice, he has restored over 10,000 dental implants. He also received a certificate of appreciation for superior performance and extraordinary dental education from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
He has lectured nationally and internationally and also served as a reviewer and drictoral of editorial board for international journals.
He works hard to implement cutting-edge digital technologies in both reconstructive and multidisciplinary dentistry. He believes this provides the best possible care to his patients and he encourages his colleagues to share his dedication to continuing education. He has authored numerous scientific publications in the field of fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry. His research in esthetic and implant dentistry has been published regularly in multiple international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Khobyari works hard to stay up to date on the latest principles in the field, exploring clinical and translational research within oral implantology, applied digital dental technology, and fixed prosthodontics. He also served as the educational and technology director at the American Institute of Implant Dentistry.
With his extensive accomplishments above Dr. Khobyari also serves as a visiting lecturer at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Advanced Education in Esthetic and Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Rick Jackomis | DDS, JD
Dr. Jackomis practices general dentistry in a private solo practice located in the Northern Virginia technology corridor of the Washington DC metropolitan area. His practice stands out in the area with leading edge technologies, techniques, and equipment. Throughout his career, Dr. Jackomis has been actively involved with the clinical use of lasers, CAD/CAM, and Cone Beam radiography. Dr. Jackomis has over 10 years’ experience placing implants; transitioning exclusively to guided surgery over 5 years ago.
As a speaker and educator, Dr. Jackomis has covered a broad spectrum of dental topics including dental implant surgery and solutions, the clinical use of lasers, and CAD/CAM restorative procedures. As a former practicing attorney; Dr. Jackomis is also active in litigation consulting for malpractice and disciplinary actions.
Dr. Jackomis received his dental education at the Medical College of Virginia and his legal education at Valparaiso University in Indiana.
Prof. Takahiro Ogawa | DDS, Ph D
Dr. Ogawa is a Professor in the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics and Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology at UCLA School of Dentistry and a leader of Team Surface.
Dr. Takahiro Ogawa is widely recognized as an expert in designing and creating novel titanium and zirconia surfaces, implant biologic research, and photoenergy-mediated activation of implant materials, known as UV-activation. He has published more than 190 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals with a total impact factor of over 600, total citations of over 8000, and h-index 53. He spoke over 150 times in the invited lectures and symposia worldwide. Dr Ogawa and his team received over 40 scientific awards from the national and international meetings and societies. Dr Ogawa is a recipient of IADR/AADR William J. Gies Award, American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) Clinician/Researcher Award, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) Ralph V. McKinney, Jr Award, and Academy of Osseointegration (AO) William R. Laney Award, and IADR Distinguished Scientist Award. He is a former president of IADR Prosthodontic Group.
Dr. Kenneth Osamor | DDS
Dr. Kenneth Osamor, a proud Houston, Texas resident, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Southern University in 2000 and attended the University of Texas College of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2004. He is a member of the American Dental Education Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Osamor has been practicing general/family dentistry including restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry since 2004.
Dr. Osamor is an Implantologist with multiple Fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI) and California Implant Institute and has focused his dental career on restoring his patients smile through implant placement and prosthetics. He completed courses in perio protect methods which are focused on restoring and regenerating the bone on perio compromised patients. Committed to providing the best care possible for his patients, Dr. Osamor has completed over 1,000 continuing education courses as he continues to keep updated with the newest dental procedures and technologies.
Dr. Osamor combines his love for sports and outdoors with his passion for philanthropy and building a healthier community one smile at a time. He loves spending time with his daughters and family. His hobbies include traveling, playing golf, racing and participates in charity runs like Autism Speaks and Making Strides for Breast Cancer.
